Blood and Fire, set in Victorian London is centered on the conflict between General Booth’s Salvation Army and the Skeleton Army, which opposes the temperance campaign. In the midst of this confrontation, follow Michael Remsen, an idealistic, atheist doctor from the wealthy West End who sets up a clinic in the poor East End where he falls in love with Amelia, who must ultimately decide between Michael and a life in the Salvation Army.
